Product description
Iodization is commonly carried out by spraying a potassium iodate solution onto the salt and then mixing it so that the iodine is distributed evenly through the product. Mixers are also used to blend in other additives, such as anti-caking agents, before packaging.
The type of mixer, its operating mode and its position in the line depend on the product, the additive and the required output, and are agreed for each project.
