Product description
A screw conveyor moves salt along an enclosed trough by means of a rotating helical flight. Because the product is enclosed, dust is limited and the salt is protected, which suits short transfers inside the production line.
Screw conveyors are also used to feed machines at a controlled rate and can mix additives into the salt while it is conveyed. The length, diameter, inclination and drive of each conveyor are chosen according to the material and the layout of the line.
