Salt Washing, Drying and Refining: What Is the Difference?
A plain explanation of three core salt processing stages — washing, drying and refining — what each one is for and when…
An air heater that supplies the hot air required by salt dryers.
Capacity, dimensions, materials and power requirements are defined for each project. They depend on the material being processed, the required output, the moisture level and the conditions of the site.
The heater raises the temperature of the process air before it enters the dryer. Air drawn in by the blower passes through the heater, reaches the required temperature and is then delivered to the fluidized bed dryer or the rotary dryer.
Air heaters can be direct-fired, where the combustion gases mix with the drying air, or indirect, where the air is heated through a heat exchanger by steam, thermal oil or flue gases and stays separate from the heat source. The choice depends on the available energy source and the requirements of the salt being dried.
Tell us the material to be processed, the required output if it is known, and whether the equipment is for a new line or an existing one. Drawings or photos of the current line help. If some details are not decided yet, our team can discuss them with you.
No. The suitable design depends on the feed material, the required capacity, the moisture level and the site conditions, so the specifications are agreed for each project.
