Factors to Consider Before Choosing Salt Plant Equipment
Before buying equipment for a new salt plant or an existing line, several factors shape the choice: the material, capacity, moisture, site,…
Mills that crush and grind salt to the grain size required for each product.
Capacity, dimensions, materials and power requirements are defined for each project. They depend on the material being processed, the required output, the moisture level and the conditions of the site.
Mills reduce raw salt lumps and crystals to smaller sizes. Coarse crushing breaks down large pieces of raw salt so that they can be washed effectively, while finer grinding produces the grain sizes required for table salt and other products.
Mills are normally combined with a screening unit: the ground salt is screened, the correct sizes continue to packaging and the oversize returns to the mill. Grinding can take place on dry salt or, in some lines, on salt mixed with brine during washing.
Tell us the material to be processed, the required output if it is known, and whether the equipment is for a new line or an existing one. Drawings or photos of the current line help. If some details are not decided yet, our team can discuss them with you.
No. The suitable design depends on the feed material, the required capacity, the moisture level and the site conditions, so the specifications are agreed for each project.
