Process tanks for holding, mixing and feeding salt slurry and washing brine at a steady rate in the washing stage of a salt line.
Capacity, dimensions, materials and power requirements are defined for each project. They depend on the material being processed, the required output, the moisture level and the conditions of the site.
In the washing stage of a salt line, tanks receive the salt slurry and the washing brine, keep them mixed and feed the pumps at a steady rate. Tanks fitted with an agitator keep the salt in suspension so that it does not settle before it is pumped onward.
Brine tanks allow the washing brine to be stored, settled and recirculated, which reduces the amount of fresh brine the line needs. The number, volume and arrangement of tanks depend on the design of each line and are agreed with the customer.
Tell us the material to be processed, the required output if it is known, and whether the equipment is for a new line or an existing one. Drawings or photos of the current line help. If some details are not decided yet, our team can discuss them with you.
No. The suitable design depends on the feed material, the required capacity, the moisture level and the site conditions, so the specifications are agreed for each project.
